What are the Holiday Edible Ornaments made out of?
Our edible ornaments consist of a chocolate chip cookie interior with a butter cream filling,  encapsulated with a white chocolate flavored coating (may be colored) and then dusted with an edible glitter for the finishing touch. A non-edible gold crown is added to complete the look of the ornament.

Do the edible ornaments need to be refrigerated?
No, they can be stored at room temperature. In fact, we recommend that they kept at room temperature and be kept from extreme hot or cold.

Can the edible ornaments be frozen and be thawed later for consumption?
They can be frozen and re-thawed but for the best experience, we recommend you enjoy them while they are fresh.

How long will the edible ornaments last?
They can last for up to six months. However, we challenge your will power to abstain from eating them for that long.

Are the gold crowns edible?
The gold crowns are NOT edible. They are simply decorative to give each cookie the true look of an ornament.

Do the different colored edible ornaments taste any different?
The taste of each edible ornaments is the same regardless of color. The colors are added to provide variety and to be aesthetically pleasing.

What color(s) edible ornaments will I receive?
Poinsettia Themed: 9 pack mailer will receive 3 red, 3 green and 3 white edible ornaments. 4 pack mailer/4 pack in cellophane will receive 1 red, 1 green and 2 white edible ornaments. For the single gift in cellophane (wrapping paper may vary) or individual gift box, you will receive 1 edible ornament in a random color (red, green or white).

Patriotic Themed: 9 pack mailer will receive 3 red, 3 blue and 3 white edible ornaments. 4 pack mailer/4 pack in cellophane will receive 1 red, 1 blue and 2 white edible ornaments. For the single gift in cellophane you will receive 1 red edible ornament and in the single patriotic gift box you will receive 1 blue edible ornament.

Baby Themed: 9 pack mailer will receive 3 baby blue or baby pink, 3 bright blue or 3 bright pink  and 3 white edible ornaments. 4 pack mailer/4 pack in cellophane will receive 1 baby blue or baby pink, 1 bright blue or bight pink and 2 white edible ornaments. For the single gift in cellophane you will chose to receive either 1 bright blue edible ornament for the baby boy or 1 white edible ornament for the baby girl. Either bright blue or bright pink come in the single gift box.

New Year’s Themed:  9 pack mailer will receive 3 gold, 3 black speckled and 3 iridescent black edible ornaments. 4 pack mailer/4 pack in cellophane will receive 2 gold and 2 black speckled edible ornaments. For the single gift in cellophane you will receive 1 iridescent black edible ornament and in the single gift box you will receive 1 iridescent black edible ornament. 

Why is the individual gift box less expensive than the individual cellophane edible ornament?
While both options include a single edible ornament, the cellophane package is slightly more due to the cellophane wrapper, decorative ribbon and extra time required to package a single edible ornament. The individual gift box is a gold linen foil wrapped box and holds one edible ornament in colored tissue paper.

Can I have a special message added for orders sent as a gift?
Yes, you can include a short message that will be added to the inside your mailer box or to the front of an individual gift box. Please add your message to the special instructions at order checkout.

Is the order process secure?
Yes, our ordering process works in conjunction with Paypal Business solutions. Paypal is an industry leader in online payment processing. They provide you with secure online ordering including data encryption, address verification, card security code checks, fraud prevention and dispute resolution assistance. In fact, your financial data is kept completely secure that even we don’t see it. Paypal manages the entire financial transaction and only notifies us upon receipt of payment. Your credit card, bank info or Paypal data is never sent to us.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept direct bank and Paypal transfers. Though, we work in conjunction with Paypal, you do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase.

Do you charge sales tax?
As this is an edible food product, no sales tax is required to be collected.

Can I order by phone or email?
Yes, you can. Please see our contact page to send an email. Our phone number is 858-552-3000. We will require the same payment information that is required for an online purchase.

Do you offer discounts for large orders?
We are more than happy to work with customers who have large order needs. Please contact us so we may discuss what options are available to you for large orders.

Shipping & Packaging Questions

What are your shipping charges?
Our shipping rates are based on USPS flat rate shipping boxes. You can see our rates on the shipping page.

How is my order shipped?
Your order will be shipped via USPS flat rate shipping. Each mailer or individual gift box is securely packaged inside a flat rate shipping box.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
The shipping time usually takes 2-3 days (not including Sundays). Please allow extra shipping time during peak holiday mail periods.

Is my order insured and tracked when shipped?
Your order includes a delivery confirmation.

Can I pickup my order at your local bakery?
Yes, be sure to select ‘local pickup’ as your shipping method when you place your order. We are located in San Diego, Ca. Click here for directions.

What happens if my order is damaged during shipping?
Please contact us right away and let us know about the problem. We stand behind our products and will ship a replacement as quickly as possible. We may ask for a photo of the damaged product for verification.

Do you ship outside the continental United States?
At this time, we only ship to locations within the continental United States.

Do you ship to PO boxes?
Yes, USPS flat rate shipping boxes can be delivered to PO boxes.
